Greetings New Living Expo Volunteers!
Our expo is April 17-19, 2026, in San Rafael, Ca. & at the Embassy Suites for speakers rooms.
We are so excited to be hosting the Expo for the 23rd year. A large part of the success of our show is due to our wonderful volunteers, many of whom return every year. Please check in at the main entrance in the lobby of the Hotel. Look for a sign saying Volunteer Check-In
We have created a sign up site to help facilitate our volunteering process. We hope you find it easy and convenient.

There are 5 volunteer categories:
Set Up, Breakdown, Door Moditor, Greeter, and Coat Check
All shifts are 4 hours long and generally require that you be able to stand on your feet, perform some physical labor, and have a friendly demeanor. It’s important to wear comfortable shoes and attire. Parking is FREE and if you use public transportation be sure to check the hours of operation before signing up for a volunteer shift. Here is a description of the Volunteer categories.
Set Up
Volunteers help with setting up the bookstore, decorating the hall, arranging tables and chairs, transporting items to booths, and other tasks. Volunteers should be able to lift 40 lbs., be on your feet for 4 hours.
Breakdown
Volunteers help with breaking down and packing up items after the close of the show on Sunday evening. This is a very physical job which requires strength and mobility to dismantle booth fixtures, tables.
Greeter
Volunteers provide a friendly greeting to attendees, help with line control, and assist ticket takers.
Coat Check
Volunteers help with checking coats and items from attendees, volunteers, and speakers. Provide event information to attendees.
